Meet Your DJ

MeHi, I'm Steve Thompson and I own and run Dynamic Entertainment as a full time business venture. I can't say that it's always been full time as for a good many years I was a part time DJ with a "regular" day job. However I soon realise that you can't have the best of both worlds and in order to provide a high quality service, you need to run your business as a full-time venture.

Dynamic Entertainment began life in 2007. I, however, have been DJing since 2000, where I began my career as a free roadie for my step-fathers roadshow. It wasn't long, and with a bit of careful guidance, that I began DJing more than Roadie'ing, and it snowballed from there.

In my 10 years, both under my own business, and that of my step-fathers, I've provided hundreds of discos, for all sorts of occasions; from Weddings, to Birthday, School Discos/Prom, Cristenings and even Celebrations Of Life. I've even DJ'ed in pubs and nightclubs throughout Cumbria and the Lake District. 

When I had the idea to set up Dynamic Entertainment, I made a conscious decision to focus my attention on the wedding sector, as a dedicated Wedding DJ...afterall weddings are a tremendous celebration and I take great enjoyment in making my clients dreams come true.

My goal is to provide a high quality service which focuses entirely on my clients needs. This included working closely with Brides and Grooms, Venues and other specialist Wedding providers, in order to ensure that your wedding day is as perfect as you want it to be.

Over time, I have built a reputation, and high quality service, which is the best you will find anywhere, and at any price. I am the first to admit that I'm not the cheapest Wedding DJ throughout Cumbria and the Lake District, and if you're looking for the cheapest price possible the it is unlikely that I would be your best choice. If, however, your looking for a professional, dedicated Wedding DJ, who's service and attention to detail is first class, then please get in touch.

I offer my clients Mobile Discos, Wedding DJs, Uplighting and Mood Lighting, Slideshow and Photo Presentations, Quiz Nights and Ice Breakers, and Event Planning throughout Cumbria and The Lake District, including Carlisle, Workington, Whitehaven, Keswick, Penrith, Windermere, Ambleside, Kendal, and all other towns in the area.
